Real students. Real instruments. Set up inside the school hall.

We bring the kit. The school hosts the room. Your child just shows up.

A huge thank you to Amped Up Rock School for bringing such energy, fun and creativity to Blythefield. The hall was absolutely buzzing!

How it works

Four steps. Nothing for you to organise.

Everything happens inside the school day. We handle the logistics. You don't need to do a school run, sort gear, or chase a calendar.

  1. 1

    Book a trial

One free 30-minute session at your child's school, during the school day. We bring all the instruments.

  2. 2

    Secure their place

£40 per month. Cancel any time with one month's notice. Nothing to buy.

  3. 3

    Show up weekly

Same band of 3 to 7, same time, same room. Consistency is what builds confidence.

  4. 4

    Watch them grow

New songs, performances, real confidence by the end of term.

Why Amped Up

What makes this stick.

Weekly clubs come and go. Solo lessons fizzle. Here is what we built differently.

  1. Solo lessons

    A band of 4-7

Solo lessons can feel like an exam. In a band, nobody is on the spot, so quieter kids get pulled along by louder ones.

  2. After school

    Inside the school day

Same room, same group, same tutor, every week. No driving across town. No missed dinners.

  3. Just another club

    A real curriculum

A structured path through music kids actually want to play. By year-end, most can play several full songs in front of a room.

More than a lesson

What you're really paying for.

The music lesson is the surface. Underneath, it's a child learning they can do something hard, in front of other people, and come out the other side feeling more like themselves.

Confidence that lasts

Standing up in front of a room and playing changes how a child sees themselves. That doesn't fade.

Skills that compound

Rhythm, timing, listening, performing. The songs they learn this term stay in their hands for life.

Memories worth having

First chord. First gig. First time the band locked in. The stuff they remember decades later.

Real Music. Real Skills. Real Confidence.

What parents say

In their words.

FAQ

Parent questions, answered.

Does my child need any experience?

No. We work with complete beginners. Every student starts at their own level.

Do I need to buy an instrument?

No. Everything is provided. Instruments and equipment.

When are lessons held?

During school hours, as part of the school day.

Can I book a trial at any school?

Trials are only available at schools where the programme is already running and groups are in place. If your child's school is not currently listed, you can contact us to register your interest. We add new schools based on parent and school interest, so letting your school know is the most effective first step.

How are the groups organised?

Students are placed in small bands of 3 to 7, based on age and ability.

What if my child misses a session?

Sessions are part of a structured programme. Progress happens week to week. Missed sessions aren't refunded as standard.
